We wrote a few weeks ago, about how Bésame Cosmetics discovered model and burlesque performer, Honey B’Zarre, at the Miss Pinup Finland contest in Lahti in October.
We are delighted that we have now been able to spend some time with Honey in the UK, as she joined the Bésame Cosmetics team for a showcase at Clothes Show Live at Birmingham NEC at the beginning of December, and had her first opportunity to work alongside our existing Bésame Cosmetics models and our key event photographer, Paul Jones.
With British dress brand, Frilly Chantilly, also appearing at the show, Honey was able to show her versatility with our vintage and avant garde looks…
Day One : The Rocking Beehive
Honey’s hair was artfully created by Gloria Holloway of Vintage Hair Lounge, and all the makeup was Bésame Cosmetics – Soufflé Foundations in Bisque and Honey, Apricot Cream Rouge on cheeks and eyes, Brightening Violet Powder on eyes, under eyes and top of cheekbones, Cashmere Pressed Powder in Porcelain, Light and Medium to set, highlight and contour the face, Brown Cake Mascara for brows, Black Cake Mascara for eyeliner and mascara (false lashes also added), and Tango Red lipstick to complete the look.
Honey wears the Frilly Chantilly Ophelia Dress.
Day Two : The Noir Twins
On the second day we tried something a little more daring by emphasising the platinum blonde side of Honey’s hair, and her Frilly Chantilly white faux fur cape, alongside our Bésame Cosmetics model Raven Brookes, with identical hairstyle, in a faux black fur coat.
With identical makeup the pair looked absolutely stunning…
Makeup wise, this time we used Bésame eyeshadows (not currently on sale) in Pistachio, Socialite Brown and Black Pearl, to give a 1920s inspired twist to this avant garde vintage look. Both models wore Noir Red lipstick.
We have to give Raven Brookes an extra special thankyou for working so fantastically with Honey, and we look forward to some more exciting projects with both models very soon!
