The Greater Riverside Chambers of Commerce didn’t have to look far to find its new president/CEO.
Nicholas Adcock, the chamber’s vice president since 2013, is taking over for Cindy Roth, who announced in summer that she would retire effective Sept. 1 after 23 years as president/CEO.
“I am excited to get started and grateful for the confidence from the (Board of Directors) and Executive Committee,” Adcock said in a Thursday, Sept. 22, news release. “This Chamber has been my home for 13 years and I am looking forward to working with our members and the Chamber team to continue Riverside’s upward trajectory.”
A fourth-generation Riverside resident, Adcock has been with the chamber since 2009. During that time, he worked to arrange for state funding for UC Riverside’s medical school and to secure local control of Ontario International Airport.
